California Government Live Scan Fees
The table below lists all fingerprint processing fees charged by California, grouped by Purpose of Fingerprint Submission. The state and federal CORI fees (Criminal Offender Record Information) refers to the compilation of records and data by criminal justice agencies for the purpose of identifying criminal offenders.
These records include a summary of arrests, pretrial proceedings, the nature and disposition of criminal charges, sentencing, incarceration, rehabilitation, and release information. The California Department of Justice maintains this information in a statewide repository, and it is considered privileged and confidential. Access to CORI is restricted to authorized agencies and individuals for specific official purposes, such as employment, licensing, and certification responsibilities.
State fingerprint fees are collected at time of service and then paid to the state by the Live Scan Operator.

Andrea’s Mobile Live Scan Fees
Below is a list of live scan operator fees for various fingerprint services provided by Andrea’s Mobile Live Scan and Notary.
❑ Live Scan Fingerprint Rolling: starting at $55
❑ Ink Fingerprinting Cards: $59
❑ Wait Time Fee: Wait time fee of $15.00 will be charged after 20 minutes of scheduled signing appointment. There will be an additional $15 fee for each additional 15 minutes.
❑ Returned Check Fee: Returned check fee of $35 will be charged for NSF when paying by check.
❑ Travel Fee: Starts at $70 – $75, depending upon fingerprinting location, distance, and the level of service required. Level of service is determined by the kind of application you are submitting to the DOJ.
❑ Cancellation Fee: There is a $25 cancellation fee for all live scan and notary appointments.
Additional Information and Costs for Live Scan Services
There may be additional fees for after hours, holidays or other special circumstances.
Each live scan application has an ORI Code. A Live Scan application will be issued to you by your employer or referring agency. You can then provide us with the ORI Code and we will let you know the fee for Live Scan DOJ/FBI.
