Everyone in life wants to feel appreciated! From the Mobile Notary, to the attorney, the nursing home administrator, escrow officer and title agent, etc., we all want to be appreciated. How often in life do we feel appreciated for our hard work and efforts by others or even our loved ones? How often do we receive a, “Thank-you?”
The other night I got a last-minute phone call for a mobile notary. The client was in a bind and desperate for a mobile notary to be done that night. I scheduled the notary appointment for an hour and a half later which was the time she would be home from work. It was late at night when I provided the notary service and when she opened the door to greet me her first words were, “Thank you for coming!” It was such a warm friendly greeting at the very end of a long day.
She had to wake her husband up so I could notarize for him. When he completed the notary he turned to me with a warm, sincere smile and said, “Thank you so very much for coming at the last minute tonight; I want you to know that your help is truly appreciated.” I felt so happy to help this couple! I then completed notarization for the wife.
On my way out she thanked me again and also commented on my Mobile Notary reviews. She said they were one of the reasons why she choose me. She offered to write another review and thanked me again. Boy, do I wish every mobile notary client was this appreciative!
Then I realized everyone should be like this couple and that they set such a fine example of what it means to be appreciated. I want to make others in life feel the same way, whether I’m providing mobile notary for a Loan Package, Power of Attorney, Deed of Trust, Permission to Travel, DBA, any legal document or witnessing a will.
